What is a Cabana Club Card?

Since 2005, Mexicali Fresh has grown thanks to the loyal patronage of our guests. We want to thank those who have stood beside us all of these years and continue to encourage others to become loyal patrons as well. The Cabana Club Card program allows us to do both.

Why should I join?

For every ten dollars you spend at a Mexicali Fresh restaurant we reward you with ten points, thats 10% back on your card. Accumulate points to get rewards. Also Cabana Club Card members are recognised on their birthday with special offers and gifts. Every Mexicali Fresh restaurant honours the Cabana Club membership.

How do I get a Cabana Club Card?

There are two ways to become part of the family.

  1. For a physical card (which is soo old school) email us at nachomama@mexicalifresh.co.nz and we will reply with the information we need to sign you up. 

  2. For the Virtual card visit https://mexicali.appropo.io/download to download your app. Once downloaded select Cabana Club in the upper left hand corner. Here you will be prompted to either sign up using Facebook login or by entering your details manually. Once completed the app will generate a barcode that represents your account which you will scan when you purchase.

On what types of purchases can I accrue points?

You can accrue points on any regular purchase. If you receive a discount your Cabana Club points will not be added to your account. For example, you can buy a burrito at our KRoad location before going to the movies. You can place a catering order for your office from our Newmarket store.  You can go to Princes Wharf before a concert for dinner with 10 friends and put all of the points on your card. If you buy gift cards or t-shirts for your family and friends at you will get points for those purchases, as well.

Can I earn and redeem points using the online ordering system?

Yes you can, just enter your card number in the space provided. The space is located under your phone number in the account section.

How many items can I redeem at once?

Redemptions are limited to one product per transaction only.

If my friends and I all have Cabana Club Cards and go to eat together, can we split the points up onto each card?

Unfortunately, we cannot split points off of one guest transaction. If everyone in your party has a card, they must each have a separate transaction and present their card. Or flip a coin to see who gets all the loyalty points loaded on their card.

What if I have a meal at Mexicali Fresh, but forget my card – can I still get my points?

Unfortunately, no you need your card! We need to swipe your card at the time or purchase in order for you to receive your points.

Free Birthday Meal

Birthday meals are awarded to Cabana Club members at the beginning of the birthday month. You must be a registered Cabana Club member prior to your birthday month in order to qualify. Points will automatically added to your account on the first day of the month. Points are only valid during your birthday month so use them or lose them. 

How long does it take to update my Cabana Club Card points in the system?

It should only take about 10 minutes but to be safe we will say it can take up to a couple hours for your points balance to be updated on your Cabana Club Card online account.                    

Are points issued on redemptions?

No, points are not issued on redemption transactions.

How do I redeem my points?

Go to your local Mexicali Fresh, make a purchase and present your Cabana Club Card.

Can I have more than one Cabana Club Card?

Yes, however points cannot be combined from two or more currently registered cards.

How can I check on my point total?

Simply open the app and login to cabana club using credentials or Facebook. Select MY BALANCE and see your points. Or, anytime you are in a Mexicali Fresh you can scan the barcode on your app or ask the Cashier to swipe your card on the POS to read your points.

Are there any limitations or restrictions on the use of my Cabana Club Card?

You can use your points to make any purchase at any Mexicali Fresh. One redemption per transaction.

 

What if my Cabana Club Card is lost or stolen?

If your registered Cabana Club Card is lost or stolen you will need to pick up a new Cabana Club Card at your nearest Mexicali Fresh store. Once you have a replacement card, you will need to login to your existing Cabana Club Card account and fill out the Replacement Cabana Club Card form. There will be a cost of 100 points to have a new card issued. If your Cabana Club Card is not registered it cannot be replaced.
